Wishing Star Park Nature Book

Wishing Star Park Nature Book

Shanghai Disney Resort has collaborated with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) China to create a nature book that celebrates the resort’s own, Wishing Star Park. This self-guided nature-walk book aims to help children, teens and their families explore and learn about the park’s rich natural resources and diverse habitats, as well as develop lifelong conservation values. Disney Conservation Fund

Disney Conservation Fund

The Disney Conservation Fund, founded in 1955, is a key pillar in Disney’s efforts to protect the planet and help children develop lifelong conservation values. The fund supports the study of wildlife; the protection of habitats; the development of community conservation and education programs in critical ecosystems; and experiences that connect kids to nature across the globe.

At Shanghai Disney Resort, Disney Conservation Fund is committed to supporting conservation work in China to protect nature for future generations and help children develop lifelong conservation values.

Adopt-A-Garden

Adopt-A-Garden

Shanghai Disney Resort has been partnering with Shanghai Roots and Shoots, a local non-profit organization, with an “Adopt-A-Garden” organic farming program at local schools since 2012. Through the organic farming program, local school students not only can get hands-on experience planting vegetables in the schools’ very own gardens, but also can learn about environment protection initiatives, the important of nature and food safety.
